Angila was found stabbed 44 times in her home; she was pregnant and a nursing student at Minot State University. Her ex-husband, Richie Edwin Wilder Jr., was convicted in 2016 of her murder and sentenced to life in prison without parole. Evidence included his DNA under her fingernails and her blood in his car.
