The Pirates drop the final game and series in Texas with a 6-1 loss to the Rangers. Bubba Chandler struggled in this one, giving up six runs in just four innings as he struggled with limiting baserunners since the first inning. Oneil Cruz hit his team-leading 8th home run which was the Pirates only offense tonight. Konnor Griffin had a chance with bases loaded in the 6th inning, but the Rangers made a great defensive play and threw Griffin out at first for the final out to end the Pirates last threat.
