8:36 she basically laid out my inner homophobia and helped me get thru it. So when i did come out it was so scary but she had my back. I’ll never forget that act of kindness of service that she did for me.
9:34 the thing i was afraid of losing was the people i cared about. Even when my parent were starting to find out i was gay, they were very like no this is not okay. If you do this this is the path that you’ll go down.
10:22 really coming out, it was the hardest, easiest thing i ever did. My finger was shaking when i hit send on that post. Days went by and everyone still loves me the same.

14:10 do you think the hardest part is external judgment or the internal one?
14:34 you want to come out in an environment that you feel youll be accepted in, and i already had that. I had someone who was a pop star, iconic diva, who had my back, not everyone has that.
15:13 utah is a different world. I want to go back to teen Ezra, what would you do to present a version of yourself to fit in?
16:39 you grew up dancing too like you always were a dancer? Was dance for you an escape or was it just another place you felt like you had to prove yourself?
17:09 i would say at the studio i grew up at they were very adamant about men dancing like men, so whenever i would dance a little feminine they would call me out on it.
