Atomic Cafe - der Podcast für Pop Culture

Neue Staffel, alte Stimmen – und kein Präsident weit und breit. Der Atomic Cafe Podcast startet in Staffel 2 mit einem klaren Motto: „No more Kings & Presidents“. 
Gewohnt wissenschaftlich-rational, leicht anarchisch und mit einer guten Portion Humor läuten Babs, Michi plus einem leicht jetlagged Holger das Podcast-Jahr 2026 ein.
Zum Auftakt geht's einmal quer um den Globus: Holger war auf dreiwöchiger Reise durch Neuseeland – inkl. Campervan, überfreundlichen Menschen, leichtfüssigen Hobbits, Weta Studios, Craft Beer in Wellington und sehr vielen toten „Possums" am Straßenrand. Dazu: überraschend tiefgehende, kulturelle Beobachtungen, Roadtrip-Learnings und die Erkenntnis, dass selbst Gang-Mitglieder in Neuseeland höflich blinken.

Juhu! Das Atomic Cafe feiert Geburtstag. Im Dezember 2024 eroberte es erstmals den Äther. Nun wird es zum 2. Mal weihnachtlich geschmückt. Die Hosts haben sich dementsprechend Ugly-Sweater-mäßig mighty rausgeputzt. Das Xmas-Special 2025 kann beginnen. Welcome to REEL LEGENDS – an Atomic Café Podcast Special.

On “Reel Legends” we are going on a whistle stop tour through the extensive career of extraordinary actors, creators and visionaries in the entertainment biz. 
Episode 2 features Dutch character actress FAMKE JANSSEN, known for her work on the X-Men movies, James Bond 007 GoldenEye and the "Taken" trilogy.
Atomic Cafe Host Holger & Famke met at the Monte Carlo Television Festival 2025 where this episode was recorded. They talk about childhood memories, Famkes early years as a model, her experiences on (not so) closed sets, her X-Men years and „Amsterdam Empire" – her new TV series on Netflix.

How losing €3,000 in a garbage bin became a spiritual lesson in saying “yes” to life
