Canada by Night a Vampire the Masquerade Podcast

Having sent Keighley to Vancouver and wiped the minds of his compatriots, the Department completed the favour they owed the Malkavians. Everett was disturbed to discover Keighley’s long-term plan of eradicating all vampires but didn’t disagree with it. Val got Everett’s approval to add Will to the Ghoul Pool. And Martha was given the task of negotiating with Chet Mango to keep the Bamboozler living in New Haven permanently.

Preparing for their final meeting with Keighley, Martha confessed to Thea that Matthew had passed on (Thea took the news surprisingly well), Val talked Will and herself into trying to get Will added to the Ghoul Pool, and Everett introduced his mother to the department before they headed out. Through skillful negotiation, Keighley was made an agent of the Prince and will be travelling to Vancouver to learn more about the Cult of Lilith.

In a clandestine meeting with Detective Keighley, Everett took 3 bullets to the face but finally convinced Keighley vampires were real and the two scheduled a meeting for the following night. Back in New Haven, Val and Martha had a therapy session where Val faced some hard truths about Will’s interest in vampirism, while Everett’s dad grilled the Sheriff about the risks of his stoic reputation before ending the night asking about Harv.

With evidence in hand, Everett led the department to a meeting with Detective Keighley at an isolated location. Martha tried to connect with the Sheriff telepathically until she almost ran out of blood. Val was bothered by the others so she stood watch alone, only to realize exactly how isolated she has become. And Everett almost managed to convince Keighley that vampires were real, only to find himself being shot in the head… again.

After some tense negotiations, Everett led the team back to New Haven to collect evidence to present to Keighley about what happened to the mortal detective’s sister. Martha spent the car ride learning more about Chet Mango, and Val grew silently emotional when Sheriff Cross came up in conversation about the cult’s other crimes. But can Everett prove vampires are real and bring Keighley to New Haven without being forced to kill him?
