The Pittsburgh Penguins will welcome back young forward Rutger McGroarty into the lineup tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks! Hunter and Patrick begin the show, taking a look at the new lines since Bryan Rust is out for the next three games (1:00). They discuss McGroarty being on the third line and why they're intrigued about it since he has shown some nice chemistry with Ben Kindel earlier in the season. They also discuss Justin Brazeau being brought up to the first line, and Pat also gives himself a "pat" on the back, if you will, for calling that. Ilya Solovyov will make his Penguins debut, and the boys discuss what fans can expect from him before previewing Thursday's game (11:00). They discuss how great Connor Bedard has been and give insight into how the Penguins can attack the Blackhawks, since they aren't good defensively. Finally, they discuss how the Penguins really need to bank some points over the next week since the schedule is very soft. (22:40).

The Penguins got their first 4-game western road swing sweep since 2018 with a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks! Patrick and Hunter begin the show recapping the Penguins' fourth-straight win, this time against the Canucks. A lot of the victory could be attributed to the play of Stuart Skinner, who saved the Penguins' bacon several times throughout the game. Skinner moves to 7-1 as the Penguins' goalie and continues to make his case to be the full-time starter. Along with Skinner's solid play, it was another great performance from rookie Ben Kindel, who broke his goal-scoring drought with a two-goal night in front of more than 150 friends and family. (0:00) A downside of the game on Sunday was a play late in the game by Bryan Rust. Rust's dirty hit should probably get him a call from the Department of Player Safety. They also go over a disallowed goal, the play of the second line, and much more. (13:18) Finally, they get you set for a light week ahead, where they'll welcome the Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers to PPG Paints Arena for two games that can solidify their spot as a playoff team.
