The Penguins got their first 4-game western road swing sweep since 2018 with a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks! Patrick and Hunter begin the show recapping the Penguins' fourth-straight win, this time against the Canucks. A lot of the victory could be attributed to the play of Stuart Skinner, who saved the Penguins' bacon several times throughout the game. Skinner moves to 7-1 as the Penguins' goalie and continues to make his case to be the full-time starter. Along with Skinner's solid play, it was another great performance from rookie Ben Kindel, who broke his goal-scoring drought with a two-goal night in front of more than 150 friends and family. (0:00) A downside of the game on Sunday was a play late in the game by Bryan Rust. Rust's dirty hit should probably get him a call from the Department of Player Safety. They also go over a disallowed goal, the play of the second line, and much more. The Penguins went into Edmonton and asserted themselves with a dominant 6-2 win over the Oilers! Hunter and Patrick recap a surprisingly dominant performance by the Penguins on Thursday night.
