Dr. Liz DeBetta is a scholar-artist-activist, trauma-informed educator, and founder of Migrating Toward Wholeness, a narrative healing methodology for adoptees, trauma survivors, and marginalized communities. Blending creative writing, performance, and social justice, Liz creates spaces where storytelling becomes a catalyst for personal and cultural transformation.
Her award-winning solo show Un-M-Othered and her book Adult Adoptees and Writing to Heal amplify silenced voices and reclaim narrative agency. Liz believes that healing happens when we reclaim the stories that were taken from us — and that every voice matters.
