Horror Queers

Fill that Super Soaker with holy water and get ready for a little head, tiger, because we're discussing Brian Trenchard-Smith's hilarious straight-to-video sequel Night of the Demons 2 (1994)! C/W: sexual assault.
Join us as we celebrate Halloween with Angela (Amelia Kinkade) at Hull House (and St. Rita's Academy), snakes and all. It's a movie that made Joe exclaim "You don't expect boobs to turn into hands!" Slap it on the poster.
Plus: learning about fellatio, the return of the demonic lipstick, and heaping all of the praise on Jennifer Rhodes' Sister Gloria, who may be our new favorite horror movie character.

Step on the gas because we're are revisiting another Carrie adaptation with Kimberly Peirce's 2013 film.
Joining us for the discussion is Podcast Like It's... co-host and Sleepy Hollow creator Phillip Iscove, who didn't like the film 10+ years ago and still doesn't!
Plus: the lack of queerness in such a heavily queer-made film; the "money shot" scene; praising Portia Doubleday's Chris; and tangents on Richard Kelly and Chloé Zhao.
