The life of Jesus shows us our mission, introducing others to His love. To do that, we must be spending time with those that do not know Him, which may require us to lay aside our preconceived ideas or traditions.

Jesus wants to be involved in our lives, not just the surface, but the corners of our souls that we don't often open. He cares about every aspect of our lives and the people that are a part of our lives. Will you let Him in today?

Jesus calls Andrew, Simon, James and John to follow Him. As we dive into their story, we learn that Jesus rarely ask us to do something out of the blue, He spends time preparing us for what is coming and it is our responsibility to take advantage of that preparation.

The gospel of Mark brings us two theme, Jesus does everything with authority, He is the Son of God and Messiah. Jesus is also the Suffering Servant. Through these themes Mark wants his readers to understand the true cost of following Jesus and encourage us to chose Faith over Fear.

We were created to take a break, to unplug, to pause. Yet we so often still feel tired or worn out. Today we dive into the idea that God's desire is for us to find our rest in Him; not bingeing a series or just sitting at a beach.
