Jackson Koivun makes Presidents Cup USA team and other selection shockers, Reinstated Am debate reignites, and re-dawn of Don?
02.09.2026 | 53 Min.Unlike the made-for-TV special announcing the final twelve players at this year's Presidents Cup, this Wednesday episode is not a full hour long... but Andy and Brendan do spend most of it reacting to the final rosters and the programming that brought them to us. The two discuss the ridiculousness of a 60-minute show at 5 p.m. on a Tuesday to announce the teams, every player immediately being called "great for the teamroom," and U.S. captain Brandt Snedeker's whispers to Todd Lewis about his selections. Eventually they do get into the picks, most notably Snedeker's selection of Jackson Koivun as the final man on Team USA. Andy and Brendan wonder how Snedeker might've arrived at the decision to take the young star, with some conspiracies being thrown out almost immediately. They debate the merits picking of Koivun (and Jacob Bridgeman) instead of some who did not make the team, including Ryan Gerard, J.J. Spaun, and Ben Griffin. On the International side, Geoff Ogilvy's selections were fairly chalk until a surprise final selection of Christiaan Bezuidenhout, whose wifi (or lack thereof) was a lowlight of the Golf Channel show. PJ can't believe the C-Bez pick and points out that he's ranked lower than assistant captain Taylor Pendrith on basically any list you can find. Andy supposes that the selection was a last-minute rebuttal to the Bridge Man's putter landing a spot on the American side. After plenty of P-Cup talk and a plug for the upcoming SGS Live Show at SPACE, Andy and Brendan discuss a very small Schedule for the Week before getting into some recent news. Colt Knost has found his way back to the forefront of the reinstated amateur debate, but he might've been playing it up on social for those precious, precious impressions. Lastly, Brendan breaks Andy and PJ's brains with a revelation about former PGA of America President Don Rea and his latest whereabouts in a final segment you won't want to miss.

31.08.2026 | 46 Min.Sure, the PGA Tour's "Super Bowl" was this weekend, but you knew this Monday episode could only start in one specific way. Andy and Brendan immediately kick things off with a Champions Tour Minute recapping the Ally Challenge, where Michael Block held the 36-hole lead but couldn't prevent Steven Alker from winning his second straight event. The two bring in PJ for a full debrief of an electric Sunday round featuring a vintage performance from Paul Azinger on commentary. Is Blockie the true savior of the Champions Tour? Will he qualify for the 2026 Schwab Cup Playoffs? How can we get Zinger back in our lives for golf's biggest events? All of these questions are asked and the three attempt to answer them before finally transitioning to the results of the 2026 Tour Championship. Scottie Scheffler claimed yet another FedExCup with a win at East Lake, putting to bed any arguments against him being the PGA Tour's Player of the Year for this season. Andy and Brendan break down Scottie's come-from-behind win on Sunday and discuss Viktor Hovland's inability to convert a 54-hole lead for the first time in his career. Andy expresses lament that we're stuck with the same old season-ending format for another year and Brendan was surprised at how sleepy Sunday ended up being, both on the ground and on TV. Ahead of Tuesday night's picks for the Presidents Cup, Andy and Brendan choose their six Americans to fill out the squad and debate whether Ryan Gerard will be at Medinah off a third place finish this week. A quick run-through of the remaining results from the week in golf finishes off this episode, with much more P-Cup discourse to come on Wednesday!

28.08.2026 | 1 Std. 3 Min.This Friday episode begins with some cleanup from earlier in the week on both the LIV Golf and PGA Tour fronts. Andy shares a forgotten story from The Boys' week in Indianapolis about a pressing question PJ asked a high-level LIV official regarding - you guessed it! - the Champions Tour. Brendan concedes the question was fair, but the timing was too insane to ever get an actual answer to something that barely matters to anyone but PJ. The two then clear up some confusion from Wednesday's episode regarding the PGA Tour's new season-ending format and how the points list will form the field of 32 for the first week of match play. Brendan also wonders if the match play bracket will be re-seeded after the initial cut to 16, sending Andy and PJ off the edge about the sanctity of competition and how brackets work in every other sport. After a brief bit of 2026 Tour Championship news in the form of a J.J. Spaun withdrawal, Andy and Brendan then react to the latest in the Good Good advertisement fallout. Since Wednesday's episode, Good Good has had their merchandise pulled from shelves at retailers, Callaway has cut ties with the brand, and they will no longer sponsor the PGA Tour's event in Austin this fall. The two discuss the place of influencer marketing in today's golf ecosystem and evaluate the damage that the driver ad has done in just under a week since its posting. To top things off, it was announced mid-recording that Golf Channel had cancelled this season of "Big Break" as well. This episode ends on a lighter note with two Golf Advice questions, with one sending Andy, Brendan, and PJ on a long-winding trip though the Seven Wonders of the World and whether society needs to rollback what we're calling a "Wonder" in 2026.

25.08.2026 | 55 Min.Andy and Brendan jam together early on the heels of Brian Rolapp’s press conference at the Tour Championship in Atlanta to discuss the latest wave of news in the continued makeover of the PGA Tour. They cover the new year-end format -- a season finale stroke play event followed by TWO WEEKS of match play in what will be known as the Tour Championship. Did the Tour nail it? Can this really pop as a mixture of the World Cup and March Madness? They cover the risks and potential rewards for the fans as well as the Tour. Also discussed are the rounds of questions about LIV returnees, sponsor interest, and TV network deals. Then they get to the schedule for the week, where they take great amusement in having to suffer through TWO more Tour Championships of the old, dumpy model, now that news of the future model has been announced. News covers some cryptic instagramming from Bryson DeChambeau and if he’s actually gone from LIV following the expiration of his contract this past week.

24.08.2026 | 1 Std. 15 Min.Despite a packed weekend of golf across all levels of the game, this Monday episode begins with a good old-fashioned Sports Minute about the Cleveland Browns. Andy can't help himself and pesters Brendan about his team's quarterback situation, one that will seemingly be resolved (in some form) by Monday night! The two then transition to Wyndham Clark's third win of the season and his bid for 2026 PGA Tour Player of the Year. Wyndham outlasted Rory McIlroy at Bellerive to win the BMW Championship and two (2) trophies for his troubles. Andy and Brendan look at Clark's season in totality and also point out the CBS broadcast mentioning Wyndham's usage of different clubs behind his ball in the rough in the final round. The Boys then jump in from Indianapolis after a long, tiring week of LIV Golf at Chills. PJ and Joseph share their tales of survival after six days monitoring what may be LIV's final event, highlighting a house tour of a greenside mansion, their conversations with some LIV superfans, and the final song that played during Jon Rahm's last hole of the 2026 LIV season. There's even a note about - you guessed it! - Greg Norman's design chops. Brendan then runs through the results from the rest of the world of golf, including another week of Blockie on the Champions Tour, before one final update to the 2026 USA Presidents Cup standings. With Wyndham Clark now automatically qualified, will Ben Griffin be on the team at Medinah? We will return on Wednesday to preview the "Super Bowl of Golf" at East Lake and much more.
