One of the keys to understanding the book of Revelation is to read it from the right vantage point, which is what Revelation 4 is all about. When we read the book from the perspective of our temporal world, it seems confusing and convoluted. When, however, we view the events described in Revelation from the vantagepoint of the throne of God, they make more sense. Join us to gain a heavenly perspective of God’s plan for planet earth.

One of the strikingly accurate descriptions of the real problems and solutions in the Church that must be understood if we hope to live for God’s glory today is found in Revelation 3. This fourth message in the series, “Understanding Revelation,” brings fresh insights about the Seven Churches in Revelation with a special focus on the church at Laodicea, including specific applications for our lives.

Have you ever thought about why God commands us, above all, to love Him? If so, how seriously do you take this command? In this third part of the series, Understanding Revelation, we will allow these two questions to prod our thinking that the Spirit of God might search our hearts and help us to reclaim our first love from the opening words in Revelation 2.

Once we understand who Christ is, we are able to engage in what Christ does. In Revelation 1:9-20, we are confronted with a unique vision of Christ’s roles as prophet, priest and king, each fulfilled by Him in fulness. Unveiling Christ is the first lesson in a series titled “Understanding Revelation.” This opening study, from Revelation 1:1-8, shows us how the book of Revelation unveils the person and purpose of Christ in all of His glory, and lays the framework for a greater appreciation of the entire book.
