Gerhardt Konig has taken the stand in his attempted murder trial in Oahu, Hawaii. Prosecutors claim the anesthesiologist tried to kill his wife on a hike in March 2025 because it was cheaper to do that than divorce her. They also claim Gerhardt was furious that Arielle Konig was talking with a male colleague on WhatsApp. Arielle testified earlier in the trial.
