We're joined once again by Jon Cross from the PM Entertainment Podcast and the After Movie Diner, this time to discuss "Night Eyes" and "Night Eyes II." With the first one, we look at where it sits as one of the first of the DTV Erotic Thrillers, the appearance of Cole S. McKay, and the plot holes that we love it in spite of. Then with the sequel, we look at Tweed's introduction to the series, how Andrew Stevens is as a lead, and more plot holes that we love it in spite of. "DTVC Extra" are shorter solo episodes that I'll be posting on some weeks in addition to the main podcast. In this episode I look at "The Mandalorian" Disney+ series, and the recent film "The Mandalorian and Grogu." In the first segment, I talk about the first two seasons, the atmosphere which it came out in, and why those two seasons worked so well. In the second segment I talk about the third season and why that one wasn't as well-received as the first two, and how that may have hurt momentum going into the movie, "The Mandalorian and Grogu," which underperformed at the box office. Finally, in the third segment I talk about my new flash fiction collection "Boston Stories Vol. 1," giving some background on how I came up with the initial ideas, and its journey from Myspace blog posts to self-published book.

In this episode I'm joined once again by Chris "The Brain" Kacvinsky from Bulletproof Action, and this time we're doing some Don "The Dragon" one week before his birthday with "Bloodfist II." Before that though, we discuss the late James Lew, and his impact on the world of DTV action. Then with "Bloodfist II," we realize this movie wasn't as good as we thought, between the hero's poor judge of character, the Die Hard scenario padding, the lack of understanding of how tournament movies should work, and the sad sack that is Tim Baker.

Ty from Comeuppance Reviews is back for his monthly spot on the pod as we look at "Hounds of War" and "Affinity". With "Hounds of War," we fire up the Grillo again for one we'd been waiting for for a long time. Was it worth the wait? Then on the second one, "Affinity", Marko Zaror gets after it, and we're all better for it. Finally, our spotlight on a fight looks at the end fight in "The Perfect Weapon".
