One of the most common questions I hear is: “How often should I microdose for max results?” And the honest answer is… it depends.
In this episode, we explore the rhythm of microdosing as a living, evolving relationship between you, your body, and the medicine.
Microdosing isn’t something to do every day. In fact, the pauses between doses are just as important as the dose itself. These integration days are where your nervous system catches up, where insights begin to land, and where real change takes root.
Inside this conversation, I walk you through three primary approaches to scheduling:
The every third day rhythm (one day on, two days off), a gentle and widely trusted starting point that helps you observe contrast, afterglow, and baseline
The Stamets-inspired approach (multiple consecutive days on, followed by rest), which can support momentum, creativity, and more intensive healing windows
The intuitive approach, where you begin to listen deeply and allow your dosing to be guided by your inner knowing and real-time needs
We also talk about what consistency actually means in this work. Returning to the practice week after week, allowing the medicine to build on itself over time.

Why tolerance builds quickly (and why that’s actually supportive)
How to work with your nervous system instead of overwhelming it
The importance of integration, embodiment, and emotional processing
How to choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle, capacity, and season of life
We also explore timing, both within your week and within your day.
From when you might feel the effects (30–60 minutes for capsules, often faster with tinctures), to how long they last, to how you can intentionally pair your microdose with practices like breathwork, journaling, movement, or prayer.
