From Today’s Episode

In today’s episode, we talk about the compassionate Shepherd.
There's a way to read scripture that turns it from information into an actual conversation with God—and it's simpler than you think. In this episode, we walk through Matthew 9:35-38 together, following the story of the compassionate shepherd and the great harvest to a place of real, honest prayer. If you're looking for Christian encouragement that meets you in your real, everyday life, this episode is your invitation to slow down and hear from God today.
Our Good God talks with us and we're created for life with Him, so let's experience more of it!

Verse
Matthew 9:35-38
"Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the good news about the kingdom, and he healed every kind of disease and illness.
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. He said to his disciples, 'The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest. Ask him to send more workers into his fields.'"

Question
God, what's something about this passage, about your Good News or you as Shepherd or your harvest and your workers that you want to highlight to me today, and how do you want me to pray through that?
