In this episode I talk with Nándor Albert from EcoMycel. A StartUp from Vienna that aims to scale up the use of mycelium-based materials in construction. We discuss the challenges of setting up your own company, as well as the promising properties of mycelium-based construction materials made from straw and hemp.

Von Vielen als der Nobelpreis der Holzforschung bezeichnet, ist der Marcus Wallenberg Preis die höchste Auszeichnung im Bereich der Forst- und Holzwirtschaft. Im Jahr 2026 geht die Auszeichnung an Prof. Holger Militz von der Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
