Born in 1964 in Melbourne, Marco released his first solo record in the 1990s. He has said he uses the guitar as a signal generator and amplifiers as an instrument to create improvised noise-guitar performances that can run for hours, days — even months. His work has been shown across the world, including in the 2022 Venice Biennale.
