In this episode of ProBono, Hannah Hafenscher and Julia Kalus talk about the history and mission of the European Forum Alpbach (EFA) with its Secretary General and Managing Director, Nick Donig.
European Forum Alpbach is an organisation with a long-standing tradition, dating back to the 1940s. The EFA is not a typical conference, as everyone is shaping the program and has an opportunity to interact with each other. It brings together young people, activists, academics, politicians and scientists from Europe and around the world who are open for dialogue. They also discussed the role of the organisation today and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration.Last but not least, Nick shared opportunities for students and young professionals, with EFA scholarship being the most exciting opportunity.
