In this episode, successful Hollywood Screenwriter Charles Eric Johnson shares his journey from his early days in High School when he chose to be a success and good father into making it into a reality by emerging with The Holy Spirit. Charles Eric Johnson raised in Detroit, Michigan and Los Angeles,
California is a veteran screenwriter with a history of developing original material
for independent features as well as many studio projects.
Charles has written and developed feature and television projects for and
with such industry notables as: Denzel Washington, Jane Fonda, Lawrence
Gordon (Largo Prod.), Robert Guillaume, Dabney Coleman, Alex Karras & Susan
Clark, Patrick Wayne, Alan Landsburg, Henry Silva, Yaphet Kotto, Fred
Williamson and Jim Brown to name a few.
Charles has created a diverse body of work ranging from action films and
dramas, to science fiction and romantic comedies. He attributes his skills in these
areas, in part, to his associations with Academy Award winning screenwriter
Walter Brown Newman, and industry pioneers, Stanley Shapiro and James Poe,
“Around the World in 80 Days.”
Mr. Johnson comes from UCLA, Los Angeles City College theatre
background; personally tutored by Walter Brown Newman, Academy Award
Winner, “Cat Ballou.”
The credit Charles is most proud of is the Christopher Award winning
production, The George Mc Kenna Story, starring Denzel Washington.
