• Meditation Monday: Meet Your Shadows

  My loves, welcome to a new week and another Meditation Monday on The Kirsty Gallagher Podcast. Each week, I will bring you a short meditation or practice to set you up for the week ahead. You can revisit this meditation as many times as you like.This week marks the final days of Scorpio season and brings us the Scorpio new moon - the perfect time to sit with and meet our shadows. Your shadow self is made up of all the parts of you that you try to hide, suppress or deny. These are the parts you judge, see as weakness, feel embarrassed about, or simply don’t want to face.Anything within us that doesn’t align with the image we want to show the world often gets pushed into the shadows - the emotions, desires, and beliefs we fear to express, the words we’re too afraid to speak. Our shadows hold such power when they stay hidden, keeping us afraid of anyone else seeing them. But when we turn on a light in a dark room, the shadows don’t seem quite so frightening anymore.
